Discussion Topics
The format of Leadership Dialogues includes afternoon breakout discussions, led by experts in the sector. Choose from the topics below and work with a smaller cohort to help solve pressing challenges faced by contemporary leaders. Using the Five Pillars of Intentional Leadership as a basis to discuss the issues faced today, each lead will then summarise the group's ideas and insights.
Five Pillars of Intentional Leadership
Leadership Dialogues 2027's theme is "Leadership as a Force for Good." The event is set to carry on conversations from our 2026 event highlighting intentional leadership.
Intentional Leadership is making deliberate choices in pursuit of a positive impact/outcomes, knowing why you have made them and being accountable. There are five aspects:
-
Choosing your purpose, values, and responsibilities
-
Connecting with like-minded people, having a collaborative mindset, making positive experiences together
-
Adjusting and updating initiatives and decisions in a timely manner as the context evolves in the light of new learnings and discoveries
-
Leaning forward to develop whilst being disciplined to be the best version of yourself, the team, and the enterprise
-
Owning the outcomes and the journey, finding solutions, managing the culture and the shadow that you create
Afternoon Breakout Discussion Sessions in 2026.

Led by the 5 pillars above, the first section of the event's afternoon will start with breakout groups, the discussions seeking to identify how to reinforce intentional living, mindsets and leading in different contexts in the following sectors. Choose your cohort from the following topics!

Krish Kandiah – From Message to Movement: How Leaders Communicate Hope
Ideas do not change the world. Stories do. Krish has made the case for some of the most uncomfortable ideas in public life on GB News and BBC Radio 2, in The Times and The Guardian, in church halls and the House of Lords. He has helped mobilise thousands of ordinary people to open their homes to strangers. The challenge in every one of those contexts was the same: how do you take something people find difficult and move them not just to understand it but to act on it? This breakout takes those lessons and puts them to work for leaders. Whether you are making the case for change inside a reluctant organisation or trying to build a coalition across a fractured community, Krish will show you how hope, compassion, and purpose combine to turn a message into a movement.
